I hit mile-marker 35/35 on Saturday. Which means 35 weeks and 35 days to go. This is a pretty big milestone on the board, of course it's only 35/20 for me (or around that) because of our 38 week cutoff.
It's been 3 years- almost exactly- since we started trying for a family... and now we're just days away from meeting our little pumpkins. And after a completely uneventful and uncomplicated pregnancy (knock on wood) to boot. How could we be luckier? It's just so surreal to think of how far we've come and how close we are to meeting our little girls...
Far along: 35 weeks, 5 days
How big are the babies: We haven't checked in a couple weeks, but they are supposed to be gaining about 1/2 a lb a week now.
Total weight gain: ~44 total
Maternity clothes: I don't want to talk about it....
Sleep: I'm becoming increasingly uncomfortable, so sleep is becoming increasingly difficult.
Gender: Team Pink!
Movement: Tons of movement! They really have to be running out of space in there.
Food cravings: None really.
What I miss: Moving around with ease- sitting, standing, walking, bending, etc.
What I'm looking forward to: I am so excited to meet them. To hold them. To squish them. To hug and kiss them. Etc. Etc. Etc.
Milestones: We're almost there..... If I make it to 38 weeks, we're still only talking 16 or so days.
Symptoms: Swelling, hip pain, back pain, general uncomfortableness (huh, that's actually a word)
In other news, my cousin Amber welcomed her beautiful baby boy, Jacob, to the world on Tuesday the 6th! I am so so happy for her and it just makes me that much more excited to be next in line!!
